Pretty But Practical - OOTD

I thought that I would share with you my favourite outfit out of what I have worn this week! I love wearing girly skater dresses for a fun daytime look. I'm often a jeans and a top sort of girl as it's so easy and comfortable but really leggings and a comfy dress is just as easy and looks a bit more pulled together. I got some lovely compliments when I wore this dress! I had loads of things to do that day, I had to revise, then go to uni and attend a talk and then walk back home for a break. After that I had to go back to uni for more meetings and finally I went to an awards ceremony in the evening. It was a hectic day!

Daytime Basic Look

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet today and just talk about a few products that I have been using a lot, especially on days when I know I can't spend long on my make up. 

I'm in the middle of revision madness as I have exams really really soon and although i'm hardly leaving my flat I still like to put on some make up, just as a revision break (actually it is more like procrastination).

Mini Beauty Birthday Haul!

It was my birthday yesterday and so I thought i'd do a bit of a beauty haul with some of the beauty stuff I received. I got a few boots vouchers and things so no doubt there will be a bigger haul once i've spent those!

Over the past few years I have grown a lot, I think it was 2010 when I started this blog and I was 16 turning 17. Next Saturday I turn 20. I was finishing secondary school then and now I am finishing my first year of University. I did my A-Levels and had a gap year in that time and so much has changed. I have learnt a lot about myself, about beauty, make-up and fashion in that time. That is why today I have decided to start this blog over, I have deleted my old posts so that it is a fresh start, this year and the next few are going to be exciting and new. I am going to set myself a challenge and that is to blog at least once a week, it may not sound like much but if that goes well I will increase it. Assignments and reading for uni mean that finding the time to blog can be a little tricky!
