NYE Look.

I haven't blogged in a while... but it's been Christmas and I only got home for the holidays on Friday 20th and since then it's been very busy, needed a bit of time out! The holidays are like that, right? One minute you're buying presents, then you're wrapping, opening and suddenly it's boxing day, and the sales and you're buying all over again. That's me anyway. I have tried to be good this year but I may have bought a few treats that i'll be telling you about soon!

I said I'd be doing a few festive looks and I have another one for you... let's call this the NYE look. I love New Years Eve. I like to try and spend it with different people every year - or at least at different places. Sounds silly but it's nice to be able to remember each new year differently. So here is another look!

Gold Eyes.

I used my Stila palette that I bought in last years sales and the gold colours from that to create a golden smokey eye. I also used the dark pink coloured blush which I'd forgotten that I LOVE and my Mac lipstick in Mehr. I finished the look with my liquid liner and lots of mascara.

It's a simple look, just a little heavier on the blush and mascara then normal perhaps.

My playsuit is something I got from ASOS and wore for my birthday this year :) It's a favourite of mine. It can be casual for day but works for a night out too! I love playsuits for that.

It's a pretty and girly look which could go with anything. Wear your hair big in a top knot and you have a relaxed look, or curl/straighten your hair to within an inch of its life and then you have the perfect 'put-together' look :)

Enjoy NYE!

You'll be seeing more from me soon!

Festive Look: OTT Party

Hey girlies,

I love Christmas and I love how there is always an opportunity to party or get dressed up at Christmas! I've had a few Christmas things recently and I have another couple before Christmas so I thought I'd show you a few festive looks!

This is the first one of the series and I think you'll agree, it's quite over the top/colourful!  Whatever you want to call it! I was going to a society meeting so to be honest it was quite OTT but it was fun to do and would be good for a party! Basically I was procrastinating from my essays...

I'll show you what I used and a few pictures!

Showtime!

I love dancing and at uni I have had the opportunity to be in some shows. Show make-up I don't think is too different to normal makeup, it's just in this case - more is BETTER!

Dior... I have Dior?!

Well this post is a little late as I was given this ages ago but I thought i'd share it with you now before I never do...

So it's a long story but basically my Dad knows a man who works for a company... you know, just a small one... it's called Dior. SAY WHAT? Anyway, I got all excited when he told me and then he told me the good bit, his friend was going to give him free makeup samples!! Do you understand my excitement here? I spend a lot on makeup but even I stop at Dior, well, I restrain myself anyway, it's just so expensive! I was so excited to see if it was worth the price...

Skincare - my new purchases!

This week i've really noticed that my skin needed some attention. My foundation has started showing the dry skin on my nose and really I just needed to hydrate my face as much as possible. I used to love my old moisturiser but I feel like it doesn't help my skin as much as it used to and I wanted to try something else. I went into Boots and headed to the No7 counter. I've heard good things about their skincare products and they do a good range. I got talking to the lady on the counter and she was really helpful, i'm totally aware that they are there to sell and that I can often get easily sucked in but she was genuinely very good and knowledgeable.

I'm on YouTube!!!

I've finally persuaded myself to have a go at YouTube and i'm pretty scared but excited about it too! I will have to work hard to get lots of videos up to get it properly started but the first is up and that was the biggest hurdle... Now just for people to actually watch it! I enjoyed filming it and editing - I hope you like it too!

My first video features a few of the products that I have blogged about recently so hopefully it'll give you a chance to see them a bit better!

Benefit Beauties!

I had some time the other day before an appointment at Specsavers so I decided to pop into Boots. I walked past the Benefit counter and before I knew it I was trying things out and having my makeup done by a lovely girl called Lydia. I love having my makeup done so will take every opportunity I can get! I had been wanting to try out a couple of products for a while and there was an offer on at the time for if you bought 2 Benefit products you got 750 boots points. I decided to buy 2 products in the end as I loved one so much I thought I may as well get something else too!

I bought Rockateur - a blush and a set of three minis of Posie Tint, Sun Beam and Cha Cha Tint.

Halloween and Fireworks!

So of course there was halloween this week. I've never been a fan of trick or treating but I do like dressing up occasionally and having a bit of fun with making myself look odd. I wasn't planning on going out as to be honest I felt ill but the idea of staying in alone on Halloween, i'm not going to lie, freaked me out a little. So I got ready in about 15 minutes! Crazy huh? I had also bought a dress to wear already so I wanted to go.

MaXfactor False Lash Effect Fusion Mascara

For a long while now I have not strayed far from my trusted Maybelline 'The Falsies' mascara. I really liked it and I still do like it a lot. I started using it because of Tanya Burr and now it seems that I will only try a new mascara if it is one I have seen someone else use - i've had a few bad purchases with mascara in the past and they are expensive to replace!

I wasn't intending to replace my mascara just yet but then I got conjunctivitis and definitely did not want it to keep coming back so I was forced to bin my old one and buy new.

I took the opportunity to try a new mascara and break out of the habit... I chose MaXfactor's False Lash Effect Fusion because it promises volume and length, but mainly because I had seen Alix (click her name to see her blog) using it and saying that she loved it. Her eyelashes looked great so I thought i'd give it a whirl. Here is what I thought...

Apologies for the bad photo, the mirrored writing really didn't want to work in the lighting.

Monday 21 October 2013

So I went to the hairdressers and this happened.

I went home for the weekend last week and although it was a flying visit I did manage to squeeze in a trip to the hairdressers. It had been six weeks since my last and I don't know when i'll be popping back home again till Christmas so I decided to go for it and get it done then. So I booked it whilst at uni for early on the Saturday morning when I'd be home after travelling on the friday night.

When I got to the hairdressers I was only going to have it trimmed a little but as I was talking to my lovely hairdresser Rachel I could really see the discolouration of the ends of my hair in the light. I've noticed it a lot recently but didn't realise how bad it had got. The blonde from the bleach (dip dye) started to come back through quite quickly after I used the permanent dye on it in August and this point (early October) I couldn't really ignore it anymore. To most people the ends probably just looked a bit lighter but if you put the ends of my hair against the rest of it then the difference had actually become quite pronounced.

Love: Zara Champs Elysees Perfume

I love perfume, I asked for perfume for my birthday (which I posted about here) and I had previously got perfume that I had also asked for for Christmas (Taylor Swift, Wonderstruck) which I adore. Whilst away camping we went to Bournemouth and I popped into Zara. For some reason I ended up looking at the perfumes. They are actually really well priced and I fell in love with one of the scents. I really liked a few of them actually but there was one that really stood out.

Sunday 6 October 2013

I'll Captivate you with my Mehr.

I mentioned in my last week that freshers flu had hit and I felt rubbish? Well I didn't realise at the time but I had also got conjunctivitis. Perfect. My eyes are just about getting back to their normal colour now and don't hurt so much but it's meant that I can't wear eye makeup at the moment. It also means that I need to throw away my mascaras... I'm not sure how long the bacteria can be in your eye before it comes up and i've been using a few lately so I think I'm going to have to start again. Just when I'd told myself that i'm not allowed to buy any more makeup for a bit! (You'll see why in a second). Anyway, so after this little ramble lets get on with the post.
On Thursday night this week there was a Student Shopping Night where I live. You sign up for free and get a wristband and there are discounts at loads of stores. I could have gone crazy and bought so much but I made myself choose one thing and only go to get that. I chose, surprise surprise - makeup. Not just any sort of makeup but MAC Lipstick. MAC never has sales so to get any discount is great (hence my recent purchases in duty free!), 10% off and i'm not complaining. I may have said to myself that i'd only get one but I honestly couldn't decide after spending about half an hour trying them all on. So I bought two. Yay! The girl at the counter was like, "well what are student loans for?" My reply of "food" made her laugh. These two lipsticks came to about the same amount as a weekly shop for me! But they are amazing, and beautiful and long-lasting and... I could go on but let me show you first!

Freshers! (Well, Re-Freshers for me...)

I got back to uni just over two weeks ago but last week was the official Freshers week for my University. Last year was great but it's a totally different situation when you already know the people you are living with and going out with. This year my housemates and I went out every night (minus one where we had a few friends over) during the week and went to different bars and clubs. This of course meant loads of different outfits! There was one night where my housemates ended up shouting at me to stop changing my mind as I must have put on about 10 different outfits before eventually deciding! I haven't done many OOTN's (Can I call it that? Outfit Of The Night?! Sounds a bit weird...)  on here so I hope you like it. I'm sat here feeling pretty rubbish right now, freshers flu has hit me hard but last week was definitely worth it!

Anyway, here are some of the photos from my re-freshers!

Get Ready With Me!

Lanzarote was amazing, and whilst I was there I thought i'd do something a little different. Rather than just showing you the finished face I decided to photograph it stage by stage - hopefully you can see the difference! I was getting ready to go for dinner and then we went for drinks after. Nothing too fancy :)

So this was after i'd washed my hair and I had literally done nothing apart from twist it up. During these photos the only thing I did to my hair was take it down, brush it and pin it back.

Girl About Town

I bet there are so many people like me that read blogs all the time and dream of owning nearly every product they see. Ever since I started getting into makeup and especially since I started watching YouTube videos I have wanted Mac products. Not just one of them, all of them. Everything. If only I was a millionaire and not a student (that is needing to spend on books not mascara, although that hasn't really stopped me). When I realised that there might be a Mac in duty-free in the airport - lets just say I got a little bit excited, because actually it's embarrassing how excited I was... Normally I stop myself spending on high-end makeup. This was an opportunity not to be missed though, looking back and checking the prices I saved £10 in total on the 3 products. Warning - once you buy these products you may never be able to go back to the cheaper alternatives. I'm definitely going to have trouble!

My Capsule Makeup Bag

Okay, so it's the end of summer. I am totally aware of this fact. Schools started again and everyone is starting to think about Autumn/Winter, and not which suncream to pack for holiday. However, I have just been camping this summer (blog posts here and here!) and i've just returned from Lanzarote and therefore i've thought a lot this summer about how to pack for going away. I love these products and personally use them all the time, I just think that they are also perfect for holidays. You've probably heard of a capsule wardrobe and this is my capsule makeup bag. To a lot of people they might say it's not exactly small, it's not just the 'essential 5 items' or something... but it's what I took and it's what fits into my travel makeup bag! (And I stand by the fact I needed it all...)

Lets start with the makeup bag, I adore this and i'd wanted it for ages before I decided to actually spend the £10 and buy it, rather than just looking at it every time I went into Boots! It's Ted Baker and I love the shape as it fits everything perfectly. Sometimes makeup bags are just completely the wrong size (I hate it when I have a lovely one but it doesn't fit makeup brushes for example) This bag literally fits everything I needed and it's gorgeous too. (On a boring practical note - it's also really easy to wipe clean if anything spills on it!)

My Gorgeous Little Firecracker!

One of my trips away this summer was up to Birmingham to see my friends Louise and Lisa, I had a great time and whilst I was there I took advantage of the little bit of free time Lisa and I had, and I did her makeup before I had to leave to catch my train! I even just about had time to curl her hair and she did my face too!

Little Things

Sometimes just changing one thing about a makeup look can really change your appearance. Today it's all about the lips. I was chatting to my friend and she told me that she's bought one of the Revlon ColourStay Ultimate Suede Lipsticks and she is delighted with it. It got me thinking about the one that I own. I wrote a post about the collection a while ago (check it out) and I really like the range. The lipstick that I have myself is one of my only really dark lipsticks that I own. I do actually own a pure black lipstick too but that is generally reserved for Hallowe'en when I generally dress as a cat... (Really imaginative I know). Anyway, I decided to do a look and show you how it looks with and without the lipstick. I haven't really done a 'going out' look for a while on here so it's a little bit of a change - i've even stepped out of my comfortable golds and browns on my eyes for a bit and gone silver!

Prom Queen!!

I was asked a while ago to do my friend's makeup for her prom and we had a couple of trials beforehand. She doesn't often wear much makeup so she wanted to see what she liked and I obviously wanted her to have the look she wanted, plus I am always up for doing hair and makeup! She is an incredibly beautiful girl and looks amazing without makeup but prom calls for a bit of extra effort. I got the privilege of adding some sparkle.

Camping Part Two: Floral Headbands and Hoodies

It's time for the second instalment of photos from my 10 days away camping...

The weather fluctuated so much during the time away that I had to pack for all eventualities! The second half of the holiday was a little warmer during the day, so these outfits are a little more summery. I love having a tan, I don't want to bake myself but a little bit of a tan always makes me feel a little more glowy! So there was a bit of sunbathing going on...

Sunday 18 August 2013

Yes, I actually went camping...

A few years ago I would have been the first one to say that I am not a girl that would enjoy camping... Three years ago I was invited along to go camping with my friend and his family (who are basically my second family) and I decided to give it a go... We went down after his family was already there and stayed for a couple of nights before heading back. Last year we went for a few more nights and this year it progressed to actually staying the entire time, I actually managed to camp for 10 days! Amazing.

Anyway, whilst I was away I made sure to photograph my outfits and my makeup to show you. Camping means that outfits need to be comfy and practical but I didn't want to live in trackies (so I didn't take any). Also, layers are important as the weather changes so much over the day and lets face it, you're outside. The hot weather had also left the UK by the time I was away so that made life a little trickier. I could only take minimal makeup with me (a suitcase just for makeup isn't acceptable apparently...) so I was careful with what I packed.

Sidenote - onesies are lifesavers.

This is going to have to be done in more than one blog post as otherwise it's going to be SUPER LONG. Here goes the first part... (come back this Wednesday for the second instalment!)

Sunday 11 August 2013

Back to Brunette

In October last year I dyed my hair ombré and I loved it, my hair was only just past my shoulders and I hated it at that length so I was desperate to do something to change it up a bit. I loved the ombré and I redyed it in April. Not that I really needed to but I wanted to make the ends a little lighter. It sort of worked but not as well as i'd hoped as I used the same Garnier kit again, in the same colour and there wasn't much difference. My hair had grown though so the blonde just went a little higher when I did it again.

Anyway, it's been 10 months since I first dyed it and I got bored again. I thought about buying a lighter blonde dye to make it blonder at the ends but my hair would hate me for it. I know that dying your hair darker shades is much less damaging than light 'bleach' colours so I decided that I would go back to brown. I've been red in the past but I didn't know how well that would dye over the ombré blonde. I came back from camping and was planning on buying hair dye the next day but when I told my mum it turns out she'd bought a spare hair dye for herself but now thought it may be too dark so she gave it to me. It was the L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme in shade 5 Natural Brown.

My hair went from this:

With flowers in my hair...

There has been one accessory that I have been wearing a lot (nearly everyday) this week. I have had it for ages, probably a couple of years. I went to Camden Market with my parents ages ago and bought it then although without asking my Mum i'm can't remember exactly sure when that was!

Anyway, it's summer and what's more summery than flower headbands?!

Cleansing Time!

When I went to Graduate Fashion Week at the beginning of June I picked up a goodie bag when I bought a couple of copies of Company magazine. It came with quite a lot of good stuff and this was probably my favourite product in the bag. I have been thinking a lot about trying to keep my skin clear for the summer and recently I seem to have a bit of a breakout. My skin is generally okay apart from sometimes around my mouth and eyebrows where I have a tendency to get spots that don't want to surface but just sit under the skin, make it taught and hurt.

I was excited to try this as I haven't ever used a cleansing oil before!

Golden Girl

Recently I have been wearing a lot of golden eye makeup - I thought I would show you two looks that I have done this week. It's definitely my go-to colour at the moment for when I am going out in the evening or going somewhere special in the daytime.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer and Balmi!

If you've read any of my previous blog posts where I have listed what products I have on my face you will know that I have been wearing Collection 2000 concealer. It's been my 'go-to' concealer for ages now and I was planning on repurchasing again. However, I went into Boots in the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford and I couldn't find the stand for it anywhere! As far as my friend and I could tell there was no stand for Collection (as I think it is now called) anywhere in the store. Now please correct me if i'm wrong and you've been there but I couldn't see it. I shall stop rambling now and tell you about what I bought instead.

Printed Trousers OOTD

Yesterday I had been at work, all day. I hate being inside all day when it's so sunny and lovely and warm and you just want to be outside getting a tan and soaking up the rays. When I got home I did the first makeup and hair trial for my friend's wedding and that seemed to go well, she said she liked it and I just hope she really did. I need to work a bit on the eyeliner, that's always the most tricky part of doing someone elses eyes - getting the end (the flick) perfect is hard as everyone likes slightly different shapes and peoples eye shapes differ so much. I would love to show photos - and I do have some, but I don't want anyone seeing anything that is actually very close to the look that she'll wear on the day as that'll spoil the surprise!! Guess you'll just have to wait until the end of December!

Summers Day OOTD - Going to London

On Saturday last weekend I went to see Shakespeare, well, I went to see one of the plays that he wrote anyway. It's one of my favourites, A Midsummer Nights Dream, although I wasn't expecting much. It was a free play for charity in Russell Square Gardens and you never expect much when things are free, right?

Barry M Wink & Pencil Sharpener

I have bought quite a few things from Barry M recently, I seem to have taken quite a liking their products! I bought a lipgloss that is now my staple gloss (Lipgloss in 11 - Coral) and I also bought their kohl liner (Bold Black Waterproof Eyeliner). Since buying the eyeliner I realised that obviously it was becoming blunt (which this one does quite quickly) and therefore I needed to sharpen it. My old sharpener broke quite recently so I decided to purchase a new one. In boots they are doing a buy one thing, get something else half price, and I had had my eye on the Wink Eyeliner Marker for ages so I decided to purchase that too. It meant that the sharpener was only a £1, not a massive saving but every little helps!

Beauty Tag!

This is going to look like a hugely long post but it's really not! It is the first completely text post I've done on here though, it's a beauty tag and it's basically a 'this or that?' question tag. I'm doing this whilst thinking 'if you could only have/do one of these for ages which one would you chose?' I hope you enjoy reading it and i'm sorry it looks so long! It doesn't help that i've spread it out but it was too hard to read without the spaces!

Here it goes... (the ones i've chosen are in bold)

Thursday 20 June 2013

Messy Hair Bun

I hate tying my hair up at the moment, it's at a really awkward length and I only like it tied up when it's straight. This doesn't mean I don't tie it up at all, if you look at my previous posts you can see that I still do but I have taken to doing a really messy bun using hair grips and no hair tie. Anyway, I did it yesterday and I thought it looked good so I thought i'd share it with you. I had just got home from work and as I work with kids it's best to have it up - however when i got home it was even messier than when i'd set off (at the front anyway).

If your hair isn't curly then curl your hair with straightners or a curling iron to achieve this but do it messily, don't try and create equal curls. As my hair is already curly (and messy) I firstly had put Moroccon Hair Oil in to calm the frizz (I mentioned this stuff in my birthday haul) and then I hold my hair up as I would start a ponytail. I do the first twist as you would a normal 'ballet bun'. Then hold that in place and with the rest of the ponytail wrap it round loosely (as you would a ballet bun but without twisting the hair tightly). Then randomly slide the grips in the whole way around, I think I used about 8 grips ish. It works differently with different hair types but that's what it turned out like on mine and I really like it for work as it's up but doesn't look severe.

I hope you can kind of follow those instructions!

See you Sunday!

Out for drinks

I am blogging from my new desk at home!! YAY. I love it as there is so much more space even though it's a little shorter than my old one. It is much deeper and the height is better. Plus I have my new adjustable desk chair so i'm much comfier. I spent 3 hours in the Wembley IKEA yesterday desk shopping! (I bought a couple of other bits too...)

As always, i'm running late. I've been at work all day and then I went and did a trial for my friend Tess's hair and makeup for her prom. That was great fun but I forgot my camera as I went straight from work so there aren't any pictures that I have. There are some on her phone that I'll ask to steal if possible.

Onto today's post, (it's not just me rambling - I promise!!)

I'm about to go out for birthday drinks (it's a joint thing for two of my friends from back at school). I thought i'd do a sort of OOTD and FOTD -

...

Sunday 9 June 2013

Capital FM Summertime Ball OOTD!

I am SO excited, in less than 5 hours time I will be in Wembley Stadium and watching Taylor Swift, Olly Murs, The Saturdays, The Wanted and so many others! I really hope Ed Sheeran makes a surprise appearance with Taylor for Everything Has Changed.

I was up last night trying to decide on an outfit - what on earth do you wear to a concert like this? It's not like I know anyone there so it isn't the same as going to a party but I still want to look and feel good. If the weather didn't look a little chilly then i'd be wearing my new maxi dress but it's strapless and I don't think it would be quite right for today. I thought about leggings and a peplum top... I thought about highwaisted shorts and a loose t-shirt, but I kept going back to dresses! I have worn a lot of my dresses recently on nights out so I didn't want to wear them (I am not one of those people who only wear things once or twice but I don't like wearing the same dress twice within a couple of weeks).

Typical me and i've changed my mine, it really is quite windy and cold looking outside so I have changed into the peplum top and leggings. Also the blazer I can wear with this outfit is a little warmer than the denim jacket I was going to wear with the dress!

Saturday 8 June 2013

My top 4 'rescue' products!

Now by 'rescue products' I don't mean that they are going to save me if I get into trouble like if I fall off a boat or something, oh no, I mean the products that save me from dry lips, elbows, hands etc. The products that help my skin rather than cover it up like with all the make-up! I have a product for the body, one for my face, one for lips and finally a hand cream.

OOTD - Summer Day on Campus

Okay so this isn't todays outfit as the sun has gone and it definitely wasn't warm enough to wear this today but I wore this outfit the same day I did Zoe's make-up (if you want to see that click here) and so we took some photos. I definitely like my make-up in this but I'm not too sure about my hair. It was doing strange things so I tied it up and by the time I got to Zoe's the front part had come out a bit!

Collective Haul

There are a lot of products in this haul and I definitely didn't buy them on the some day! They are all products i've bought since my birthday in May. It's primarily a make-up & brushes haul but for some reason I also decided to add in a little wildcard hair band too that I bought and thought i'd throw into this haul! Also, this isn't in any order of when I bought the products.

Suede look lipstick?!

My friend works for a promotions company and has been working for Revlon recently, promoting some of their new products. Just to make clear, this is not a sponsored post as I am in no way affiliated with Revlon.

Anyway, my friend had testers of the ColourStay Ultimate Suede lipsticks and she let me try them on and see what I thought!

Graduate Fashion Week!

This is a bit of a different post for me...

On Sunday I headed to London and went to Graduate Fashion Week with Emilie and Zoe (Street To Style). Well, firstly I headed to Oxford Street by myself, Emilie and Zoe were already in London so I was meeting them a bit later. I have now realised that going to Oxford Street before 12 on a Sunday is a stupid idea as nothing is open. Office was one of the only places open and it was packed. Eventually places did open so I did get to have a bit of a look and Emilie joined me when I was in Miss Selfridge but I didn't buy anything. Then we went to Camden and had a look round the market, I bought a belly bar and that was my only proper purchase of the day. Eventually we met Zoe and headed to Earl's Court 2, the venue for the exhibition and show!

I seem to have my neck at a weird angle but this is the only photo I have of my outfit from the day!

Purple Smoky Eye on Zoe from StreetToStyle

Today I did my friend Zoe's makeup (not for any particular reason - in fact she was going to the library to revise! But just for fun and she wanted some photos for her fashion blog that she does with our friend Emilie - link here and they will be putting up new posts soon - they promise!)

I thought i'd share with you the look that I did:

Sunday 2 June 2013

Selena Gomez Look - (from a Tanya Burr Tutorial) Plus, I'm blogging everyday this week!

I have finally finished exams (and my first year of Uni!) So I have decided that this week I am blogging EVERYDAY! So each day from today (Sunday 1st) until Sunday 9th there will be a new blog post up! I am doing 8 days instead of 7, I am aware that this is more than a week but I have made it my mission to blog everyday this week, plus I always blog on Sundays so I'm just going to do it my way!

So to kick start my week of blogging everyday I have decided to show you a look that I did the other day. I absolutely love Tanya Burr and her blog/youtube/twitter/instagram and I definitely should have been revising but instead it got to about 10pm and I was fed up so I watched her tutorial on Selena Gomez's make-up in the Come & Get It music video. After I watched the first minute or so I decided it was definitely very important that I tried to recreate it myself, without delay! So I grabbed my make-up and proceeded to create this:

I apologize for the lighting, obviously by doing this at 10/11pm there was no natural light and my ensuite light is a bit yellow. I don't think it looks too far off how it looked though ;) - collage created on Fotor

Pretty But Practical - OOTD

I thought that I would share with you my favourite outfit out of what I have worn this week! I love wearing girly skater dresses for a fun daytime look. I'm often a jeans and a top sort of girl as it's so easy and comfortable but really leggings and a comfy dress is just as easy and looks a bit more pulled together. I got some lovely compliments when I wore this dress! I had loads of things to do that day, I had to revise, then go to uni and attend a talk and then walk back home for a break. After that I had to go back to uni for more meetings and finally I went to an awards ceremony in the evening. It was a hectic day!

Daytime Basic Look

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet today and just talk about a few products that I have been using a lot, especially on days when I know I can't spend long on my make up.

I'm in the middle of revision madness as I have exams really really soon and although i'm hardly leaving my flat I still like to put on some make up, just as a revision break (actually it is more like procrastination).

So this is my face today:
